Guidance notes
Here are some written instructions on how to create a list of pages, or if you prefer, there is a video guide at the bottom of this page. You can expand the screenshots by clicking on them. Tips are given in italics.
These notes assume you are already logged into the CMS.
Events are a bit different! They aren't created by using Pages. When creating a new event, you must first go to the 'Dashboard menu' (right hand side of the CMS) and select 'Calendar & Events'.
- Click 'Add event' to begin editing your new event.
You can choose to display the events as either a visual calendar or a list, using the buttons at the top.
- In the Event window, you can name your event and add a description in the 'Summary' tab.
- The description field here is usually a short description that will be shown on the Event Listing. Add the full description later in the "Event details" tab
- Add the date and time of your event in the 'Dates' tab.
- If the event will repeat, tick 'Repeated Event' and then set how often the event will occur.
- Depending on the configuration of your site, you should be able to click 'Event Details' tab here for additional options.
- For example, you may be able to assign a category, add a venue name, add a full description, upload a document, add a google map address or a booking link/email. If these options don't appear by you would like them to, get in touch with Frank Support to ask for further development on your site.
- Now you have created your event, it will show up in the calendar as shown below, as well as any events lists throughout the website.
You can now click on the event in the calendar to Edit or Copy if you need to.
