Content

  • Do not copy and paste your content directly from Microsoft Word, as this can cause all manner of styling issues within the CMS. Instead, highlight and copy as usual, but when pasting, hold down Ctrl + Shift + V if you are using a PC, or Command + Shift + V if you're using a Mac. You can then go in and create the styling for headings, add links and so on using the WYSIWYG editor.
  • Tables - again, we would always suggest that it is best to manually add these in using the CMS WYSIWYG editor to ensure that no styling issues arise. Use the table icon within the editor to create the correct number of rows/columns/headers and add in your data.

Accordions

  • When pasting in content, check for extra line breaks at the end of the text. Use backspace to remove any extra space, which can result in some strange formatting once published. You can check for extra spacing by clicking this button in the WYSIWYG editor:

  • Do not try to 'force' line breaks in order to manually align content. Adding in additional line breaks can make content look neater on desktop, but once opened in mobile view, the spacing will be incorrect. You can see examples of this in the images below:

Desktop example

Desktop example - a space has been manually added after the second paragraph, so that the text sits better next to the image.

Mobile example

Mobile example - there is now too much space after the 2nd paragraph and the text spacing appears uneven.
