What’s your favourite part of your role at Frank?
I particularly enjoy the main bulk of my job which is getting to work on NHS websites – it never gets old as there’s always something new to try out and learn.
What does your average day at Frank look like?
• Reading through any emails to check for updates
• Taking part in our stand-up meeting
• Working on a website project
• Researching and learning more about development
• Sometimes writing blog posts...
What’s your most embarrassing work moment?
Probably any one of the times I’ve been stuck on a seemingly insurmountable problem and I’ve called a colleague over for help - only to realise it was a typo.
What has been your biggest challenge since working at Frank?
Probably learning all the technology we use and also having to figure out how to make websites which are easy for clients to administrate. Before working at Frank, I’d never used a CMS (Content Management System) – much less developed for one. Thankfully, everyone at Frank made it very easy for me to get to grips with things and I’ve learned a lot.
What is your greatest personal achievement?
Can I skip this one? I’m only 22...
What’s your favourite line from a film?
“The frost, it sometimes makes the blade stick”
Something about you that other people don’t know?
I had a pet chicken once. I gave it a male name but unfortunately I found out later it wasn’t male – the name stuck though.
Where do you want Frank to be in the next 5 years?
I hope that we grow whilst maintaining our healthy culture, standard for quality and drive to improve.
