A quick rundown
As a large NHS foundation trust, Royal Free London employs more than 19,000 staff from 140 countries, serve a population of more than 1.6 million people across 70 sites in north London and Hertfordshire and are one of the biggest providers of cancer care in the UK. They combine world class expertise with leading healthcare that is local, patient focused and friendly.
With thousands of staff working across multiple hospital sites, Royal Free London needed a digital workplace that made it easier for colleagues to find information, access key systems and stay connected to organisational news and updates. Having previously delivered their public-facing website, the Trust appointed Frank to deliver their new staff extranet.
The extranet is designed to be intuitive and accessible for all. Built on the Frank platform, Freenet provides a single destination for day-to-day resources, helping staff quickly locate policies, clinical guidance, forms and services through powerful search and intuitive navigation.
A personalised dashboard gives users quick access to the tools and information most relevant to their role, reducing the time spent searching for essential resources.
The platform helps staff find what they need quickly, improving efficiency and supporting communication across the Trust's sites. Featuring smart search for pages, services & policies, a staff directory and app/system search, and more. It empowers teams with the tools they need.
