A quick rundown
The Greater Manchester Diagnostics Networks (GMDN) are collaborative networks across the eight Greater Manchester NHS provider organisations which strive to deliver better patient care across various clinical and diagnostic pathways, provide system value and address health inequalities across Greater Manchester.
Our solution
GMDN came to us looking for a brand identity that would reflect the collaborative, interconnected nature of their work. With that in mind, we developed a concept rooted in their vision: to create a system of mutual, dedicated support that ensures every patient has access to high-quality, modern diagnostics.
The visual identity centres around the idea of connection. We used overlapping lines throughout the logo and brand pattern to symbolise the different networks working together. Each line and colour represents one of the networks. The colour palette is modern, clinical and clean, in keeping with the NHS identity while still feeling fresh and distinctive.
Alongside the core brand identity, we delivered a full suite of assets: a flexible logo system, brand pattern, Teams backgrounds, email signatures, a detailed set of brand guidelines, and a bespoke website to help bring everything together.
The end result is a confident and contemporary identity that reflects the shared ambition of the GMDN – to provide equitable, high-quality diagnostic care for everyone in Greater Manchester.
