Frank have been been working with South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Integrated Care System (ICS) for 5 years on a variety of digital projects.
As part of their ongoing strategy to improve the health and wellbeing of people in the region, the Cancer Alliance has been formed to deliver joined up care to cancer patients. Part of the communications strategy was to deliver a digital platform that could support and grow with the organisation.
We worked over several scoping sessions with internal and external stakeholders, including experts by experience, understanding the importance of the type of information viewed, the visual delivery and the importance of the tone of copy. During these sessions we worked through the expectations of users, both professionals (as a resource for information of cancer care in the region) and patients, friends and families for information that could help support their journey through treatment.
The development of the project was geared towards giving the Cancer Alliance full control over their content, flexibility for future growth and the incorporation of 3rd party functionality. The Cancer Alliance have the ability to fully manage their system internally, update content and incorporate media rich content. To assist their marketing and communications strategy, the site was integrated with the CRM system Tractivity, allowing the digital platform to act as a hub for all their digital/marketing communications.
