East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust contacted Frank to discuss the provision of a GDPR and NHS standards compliant accessible platform to support a public facing site and service microsites running off a single platform.

The Trust communications team objective was to improve the quality of the user experience, make the new platform intuitive, fully responsive and a digital partner that could provide them with a clear digital roadmap.

Frank ran and delivered a series of scoping sessions for 6 different users groups across the Trust, including nurses, doctors, HR, IT, and business staff. This helped define both the designs and the functional requirements for the development build.

Working to a very tight timeframe of 10 weeks to deliver the project, Frank led the client through the process with a flexible project management programme. This enabled internal resource to slot into the timeline where they had time to do so, and leave the rest to Frank. A series of show and tells were provided so that the project team could stay up to speed with progress and provide their steer and input at key milestones, to ensure there were no surprise when it came to the handover of the site. The ambitious project timeline was realised, and further password protected programme/service areas were added to the site in further phased developments.
