At Frank, we’re more than just an IT company - we’re a team that cares. When someone in our community needs support, we show up. Whether we’re running through the streets of Manchester or sharing cake over a coffee morning, we do it with heart.
Fundraising has become a big part of life at Frank. It’s our way of giving back to causes that mean something to us - especially those that have touched our lives personally. And when we come together, we make a real difference.
The Great Manchester Run – a Frank tradition

In previous years, we’ve raised funds for:
- Action for Humanity, supporting global humanitarian relief
- The Trussell Trust, helping fight hunger and poverty across the UK
2025 - Running for Mount Vernon Cancer Centre
This year’s run was especially meaningful. Unfortunately, a lot of us have witness the struggle of cancer recently.
We decided this year to raise money for Mount Vernon Cancer Centre Charity - a cause close to our hearts.
A staff member is currently undergoing treatment there, and several of our team members have had loved ones cared for by the centre. They provide first-class specialist treatment for cancer, as well as care and support for people at the most difficult time.
The cause was so importance to us, staff, friends and family went over and above to make the fundraiser a success.
We had a record number of runners - 12 of us, up from just 4 last year. The energy, commitment, and sense of purpose were stronger than ever.
So many came out to support, there were double runs, huge personal bests, people who had never run more than 5k before and some did something they didn't imagine they could do - actually run when they planned to walk.
It wasn’t just about crossing the finish line - it was about standing together, making a difference and challenging ourselves in the process.
We raised an incredible £21,343! The money will go directly to support cancer services projects and make a real difference to people's lives.
From every single runner, everyone who supported, everyone who pushed for donations - we want to say a huge well done, and a massive thank you! This became much more than just a Frank effort and we are so proud.

These events are simple but powerful... proof that a cup of coffee and a slice of cake can go a long way in making someone feel supported.
We hope to host more coffee mornings soon!
